I assisted with the making of the shovel prop, which was designed by Production Designer, Bam Saengsri, for the VCA graduate short film, The Holding.

The DIY shovel was made from recycled scraps and welded together. It functioned as both a light enough prop to use for a digging scene, as well as a weapon (that was safe proofed) with foam on the end bits that were not shown to camera.

The shovel was then spray painted and sanded to create an aged look.
